Fiber Treasures Retreat photo roundup!

Last weekend, we hosted a delightful group for the Fiber Treasures Retreat, an intensive specialty spinning retreat taught by Teri Plemel (FiberTerian) and Christine Long Derks (TreasureGoddess). Lovely spinners and stunning yarn, and windy but fair Kansas weather. Photos from Teri & Christine.

At the end of the workshop, students wove tiny masterpieces with their beautiful creations, a brilliant idea to showcase small amounts of handspun. I may have to steal this idea for Yarn School. (Photos courtesy of @fiberterian. If you attended the retreat, please send your photos to add!)

Helper wanted for Spring Yarn School

If you’re cash poor but time rich and you want to come to Yarn School this spring, we still have an opening for the Before/After helper. This helper arrives a few days early and leaves a day late for their helping duties, but during Yarn School they’re just like any other student. And you save $200! Yippee!

Details here.

Beer School rescheduled for Fall

I swear (hic) I haven’t been getting into the homebrew (hic) whilst scheduling, but…

We’ve had to delay Beer School until fall. It will held between mid October and early November, dates TBA soon.

Deposits have been refunded and we’ll send out a notice to the mailing list when we have the new details. Thanks for your patience as we work out the bugs on our new workshop rollout!
